"Gentleman's Ettiquette" pt.1

Guess Who’s Back!!!!!

What’s good readers? This is my first official post for the New Year so I decided to reflect on a couple of things that have been on my mind. Now if this is your first time reading one of my blogs, let me put you on to what really goes on inside of my crazy head… lol
I normally shoot straight from the hip (look I hate to bullshit. I call it like I see it!!)
Great sense of Humor. (All around funny guy. should have been a comedian, but my mom told me to go to school. Lol)
Totally down to earth. (Meaning if I post something and you agree or disagree, I will totally respect your input and feedback)
I am Him…. (Young Michael Clayton) self-explanatory!!!!!!

Now that we have that established (In Michael Buffer’s voice) Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!!!!

Today’s topic is about “Gentleman’s Etiquette” pt. 1

I feel so strongly about this topic that I sincerely felt that I had to post a couple of rules for young G’s who are trying to step their game up to holla (my bad introduce) themselves to that special young lady who has caught their eye. I know just from experience and from talking with other guys that, some guys have no clue as to what it really takes to be a gentleman. So that being said I just wanted to pass on a couple of Jewels from me to you!!!!

Grooming & Hygiene- Fellas no woman likes a dude who doesn’t smell good or a guy who doesn’t have a fresh cut!! Keep yourself smelling good always, a good way to ensure this is to SHOWER. My mom always told me if you could smell yourself than so can other people. Lol (Love my mom. Lol) Also Cologne is not deodorant it is not to be used to cover up funk. When applying cologne you should apply it to the insides of your arms where your forearm & biceps meet. (Got that tip from my old G Renny!!) The reason why you should do this is because that spot natural gives of heat and by placing cologne in this location it will make your sent last longer without having to OD and spray the whole bottle. Another tip when applying cologne is to spray some on your fingers and apply it your beard, goatee, or mustache. Hair follicles are like a natural magnet. This will also allow you to keep that fresh sent all day. Last tip on cologne and oils, a little secret I got from my dad is when doing your laundry (drying your clothes) especially when drying your boxers, and wife beaters spray a little bit of your favorite scent in the dryer. Trust me fellas when you are with that special someone and she is real close she will say “Damn baby you smell so good, or if you see her put on a fresh pair of your boxes. Just remember you owe me. Lol for more on this topic check this site out http://www.indiaparenting.com/smartntrendy/data/003.shtml

Speaking of love woman love a dude who gets a fresh cut on a regular basis. Just ask my barber Ricky, he sees me twice a week! Tell your barber when lining you up to use the razor. It makes your line crispy & it gives you 2 extra days of freshness without you having to run back to the barber.

The Man makes the Clothes, Clothes don’t make the man. If you know me or have seen me you know I love clothes. I king of versatility I can be “Hood Fresh” 9 to 5 Fresh, and my favorite. “Where did you get that fresh” The key to being a good dresser is to know your lane. Meaning not everybody can wear everything. Skinny Jeans. I hate them they are like so Mo’. Real talk like I grew up in the 80’s and I never wore a pair of skinny jeans in my life. I rocked Lee’s, Acid Wash Jeans, and my favorite aka old reliable Levis. If I see another young dude rocking skinny jeans that are two small and hanging off their ass. I am going to smack the ish out of them. That is so not fresh! Fellas you have to be versatile buy a suit (Grandmother’s voice) you got to have at least one suit in your wardrobe. I mean come on; you have tons of jeans, kicks, hoodies, and fitted hats but not one suit wow. A good place to get a good suit is SYMS or The Men’s Warehouse. Both are great choices and they have a great selection of nice suits. Another key to being fly is knowing what to wear and when to wear it! This just the first two tips I will be back in a few with a couple other tips for my dudes & dudettes. In the meantime between time Deuce’s!!!!!
